Terms and Conditions

These Terms govern your use of KaGolf. They also include the Community Guidelines that apply to profiles, posts, comments, chats, tee times, tournaments, clubs, scorecards, and other user activity.

Acceptance

By creating an account, accessing KaGolf, or using any KaGolf feature, you agree to these Terms and Conditions, the Community Guidelines, and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use KaGolf.

KaGolf requires users to expressly accept these policies before creating an account and when a current agreement is required after sign-in. Your acceptance includes the zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive behavior described below.

This page contains the current KaGolf Terms and Conditions and Community Guidelines and replaces prior draft release text as of the effective date above.

KaGolf may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we may notify users in the app, by email, or through another reasonable method. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

Accounts and Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create a KaGolf account.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity on your account.
You must provide accurate account and profile information and keep it reasonably current.
You may not impersonate another person, misrepresent your identity, create accounts to evade enforcement, or use KaGolf for unauthorized commercial activity.
You are responsible for complying with course rules, club rules, local laws, and safety requirements when using KaGolf in connection with a round.

Using KaGolf

KaGolf helps golfers organize tee times, find flights, join clubs, browse tournaments, chat, track rounds, view GPS yardages, record scores, and participate in community features. You agree to use these features responsibly and only for lawful golf-related purposes.

Tee times, public posts, and clubs

KaGolf does not guarantee that a course will accept, hold, or confirm any tee time unless the course or club separately confirms it.
Public tee time posts, open flights, waitlists, player commitments, and listing notes are coordination tools. They are not final reservations unless separately confirmed with the course or club.
Users are responsible for confirming final tee time details, course fees, cancellation rules, attire rules, guest rules, and local club policies.
You must post accurate tee time, course, player count, and availability details, and you must update or cancel posts when they are no longer accurate.
Club admins and vice-admins are responsible for managing club spaces, membership requests, invites, announcements, polls, and club tee times fairly, accurately, and consistently with these Terms.

Scorecards, leaderboards, and verified rounds

You must submit honest scores and round information.
You may not manipulate leaderboards, verified handicap rounds, scorecards, club results, feedback, reliability systems, member confirmations, or disputes.
KaGolf may review, reject, correct, remove, or exclude scores, rounds, leaderboard entries, or verified submissions when needed for integrity, safety, or rule enforcement.
Club bag distances, shot measurements, plays-like numbers, and caddie-style recommendations depend on user input and sensor or provider data. You remain responsible for club choice and play decisions.

GPS, maps, weather, elevation, and caddie-style tools

Distances, map locations, weather, wind, elevation, plays-like calculations, and recommendations are estimates and may be inaccurate or unavailable.
KaGolf is not a substitute for course signage, marshal instructions, official scorekeeping rules, weather warnings, or your own judgment.
You are responsible for safe play, awareness of other players, weather conditions, lightning risk, cart safety, and course rules.

Data Sources and Acknowledgements

KaGolf may use adapted Copernicus elevation data for terrain estimates and plays-like calculations. Copernicus GLO-30 is a digital surface model and may reflect vegetation, buildings, or infrastructure as well as ground terrain. Elevation outputs remain estimates and are not survey-grade measurements.

The organisations in charge of the Copernicus programme by law or by delegation do not incur any liability for any use of the Copernicus WorldDEM-30

Tournament Listings

The tournament calendar may show event details, posters, featured images, logos, host details, organizer contact information, registration deadlines, entry fees, and registration links.
KaGolf may publish, update, remove, reject, or audit tournament listings and related images at any time.
Unless KaGolf is expressly listed as the organizer, tournament listings are provided by or for third-party organizers. KaGolf does not guarantee event availability, registration acceptance, prices, eligibility, prizes, pairings, schedules, cancellation terms, course conditions, or organizer conduct.
Registration links, phone numbers, email addresses, and other contact methods may send you to third parties. Their own terms, privacy practices, fees, and cancellation rules apply.
Anyone submitting tournament information or images must have the right to share them and must keep the listing accurate, lawful, and non-misleading.

Community Guidelines

KaGolf is for respectful golf coordination and community activity. KaGolf has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. The following content and behavior are prohibited:

Harassment, bullying, threats, intimidation, stalking, doxxing, or targeted abuse.
Hate speech, discrimination, slurs, or degrading content based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, or other protected characteristics.
Sexual content, explicit imagery, exploitation, or content involving minors in an inappropriate or unsafe way.
Violence, self-harm encouragement, illegal activity, unsafe on-course behavior, or instructions that could create physical harm.
Spam, scams, phishing, deceptive links, impersonation, fake accounts, or attempts to manipulate reviews, reports, scores, tee times, tournament listings, follow requests, reliability signals, or leaderboards.
Sharing another person's private information without permission, including phone numbers, addresses, emails, private chats, payment details, or sensitive personal information.
Uploading content you do not have the right to share, including copyrighted photos, tournament posters, logos, course materials, or third-party media.
Uploading images, videos, thumbnails, or sponsored creatives that contain prohibited sexual content, graphic violence, hate symbols, unsafe activity, deceptive claims, or other content that violates these Terms.
False reports, abusive reports, retaliation, or using moderation tools to harass another user.
Creating fake public tee time posts, fake tournament listings, fake organizer details, or other misleading golf coordination content.

Reports, Blocking, and Moderation

KaGolf enforces a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive behavior. Content or accounts that violate these rules may be removed, restricted, suspended, or deleted.
Users can report content, messages, players, profiles, and safety issues where reporting tools are available.
Users can block other users where blocking tools are available.
KaGolf reviews objectionable-content and abuse reports within 24 hours. When a violation is confirmed, KaGolf removes the violating content and restricts, suspends, or deletes the responsible account as appropriate.
KaGolf may review reported content, uploaded media, automated moderation flags, media labels, safety history, chat context, direct messages, club activity, tee time activity, tournament listings, sponsored placements, round feedback, appeals, and account behavior.
KaGolf may remove content, reject media, hide posts, remove tournament listings, remove sponsored placements, restrict features, reduce visibility, affect reliability signals, suspend accounts, delete accounts, or take other action when we believe these Terms or community rules were violated.
We may use automated tools and human review to screen text, images, videos, thumbnails, and other content. Automated tools may be wrong, and KaGolf may approve, reject, hide, restore, or escalate content after review.
We may preserve moderation records, media review records, appeal records, and audit logs where needed for safety, integrity, legal compliance, or abuse prevention.
We are not required to monitor all content and cannot guarantee that all objectionable content will be found or removed immediately.

User Content

You own the content you create, subject to any rights held by others. By posting or submitting content to KaGolf, including profile content, posts, comments, messages, photos, videos, thumbnails, scorecards, club content, tee time listings, tournament listings, sponsored placement creatives, logos, and event images, you grant KaGolf a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, scan, display, reproduce, moderate, adapt, and distribute that content as needed to operate, improve, promote, and protect KaGolf.

You are responsible for your content and for making sure you have the right to share it.

Premium and Subscriptions

Premium features, prices, trials, and plans may change over time.
Some features, including certain weather, forecast, elevation, plays-like, or caddie-style tools, may require premium access or may be subject to usage limits.
iOS purchases, subscription renewals, cancellations, refunds, and billing are managed by Apple through your Apple ID and App Store settings.
Free trials convert to paid subscriptions unless cancelled before the trial ends, according to the App Store purchase terms shown at checkout.
KaGolf may offer or remove promotional access, manual premium access, or trials at its discretion where allowed by platform rules.

Availability and Changes

KaGolf may change, suspend, restrict, or discontinue features at any time. Some features depend on Firebase, Google, Apple, WeatherKit, device permissions, network availability, course data, organizer data, and third-party services. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

Termination

You may stop using KaGolf at any time and may request account deletion where available. KaGolf may suspend, restrict, or terminate your account or access if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk for other users, abused the service, or if continued access would create legal, safety, operational, or integrity concerns.

Disclaimers and Liability

KaGolf is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, KaGolf disclaims warranties of accuracy, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Golf involves real-world risks. You are responsible for your own safety, decisions, equipment, conduct, course compliance, travel, and play. KaGolf is not liable for course conditions, weather decisions, missed tee times, tournament changes, registration disputes, third-party links, disputes between users, score disputes, injury, property damage, lost data, or third-party service outages except where liability cannot legally be excluded.

Privacy

KaGolf's data practices are described in the Privacy Policy. By using KaGolf, you agree that KaGolf may collect, use, share, retain, and protect information as described there.
